Consumers Choice was founded in 1971 in Louisville, KY and served primarily hotels and restaurants in the local market. Through the years, the company has grown to service 10 states in several distinct market segments: foodservice and hospitality, convenience stores, and office refreshments through a combination of direct route and distribution delivery. The company mission statement is to “Be the best at serving the best”. Our goal is to be the best vendor partner our customers have and we are fortunate to continue to garner awards for outstanding service, ethics, and financial performance from many customers and organizations. While our coffee always wins in taste tests, it is truly our people across our entire footprint who make the difference in our success.

The company is proud to call Louisville, KY our home. Our new headquarters and primary distribution service center is conveniently located in the Park Hill section of West Louisville. The company is involved in many local, regional, and national groups and organizations, both financially and with manpower to make our part of the community a better place to be.

Bob Patterson is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Louisville and Liberty University.  He has been President of Consumers Choice Coffee for 20 years.  He began his career as a coffee route salesperson which has given him great insight into providing outstanding customer service.  Bob is an instrument-rated pilot licensed for land and sea.  He serves as President of the Park Hill Business Association and as a Board member of the Louisville chapter of the American Red Cross.  Additionally, he is active with the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Downtown Louisville Rotary Club, and the West Louisville Economic Advisory Committee.
